Mr. Srinivas Bommidala is the Managing Director of the Company. He is also the Joint Managing Director of GMR Airports Limited and on the Board of GMR Infrastructure Limited since 1996. Mr. Srinivas Bommidala is currently the Business Chairman responsible for the Energy business of the Group and also for the International Airport business of the Group.

He entered his family tobacco export business in 1982 and subsequently led the diversification into new businesses such as aerated water bottling plants, etc., and was also in charge of international marketing and management of the organisation. Subsequently, he led the team as the Managing Director of GMR Power Corporation Limited for setting up the first independent power project. This project with slow speed diesel technology is the world’s largest diesel engine power plant under one roof situated at Chennai in the southern part of India. He was also instrumental in implementing the combined cycle gas turbine power project in Andhra Pradesh. When the Government decided to modernise and restructure Delhi Airport under a public private partnership scheme in 2006, he became the first Managing Director of this venture and successfully handled the transition process from a public owned entity to a public private partnership enterprise.

Mr. Grandhi Kiran Kumar- Group Director is a Graduate in Commerce, is the younger son of Mr. G.M. Rao and has been on the Board of GMR Infrastructure Ltd. since 1999. He has successfully spearheaded the setting up of the greenfield Hyderabad International Airport and the development and modernization of Delhi International Airport, a major public-private partnership project. Earlier he headed the GMR Group’s Finance function and the Shared Services. Subsequently led Highways, Construction, SEZs and allied businesses (excluding Airports SEZ) and Sports. Currently he is overseeing Group Finance and Corporate Strategic Planning Department (CSPD) functions in addition to leading Sports business.

Mr. B.V.N. Rao, Group Director, has been associated with the Group since 1989. He is a graduate in Electrical Engineering from Andhra University. During his tenure with Andhra Bank before joining the Group, he gained extensive experience in the Banking Sector with specific focus in Industrial Finance. He was also on the board of Vysya Bank (now known as ING Vysya Bank Limited) for eight years. He has held various senior responsibilities in the GMR Group. He is also a Director on the GMR Group Holding Board. Currently as a Business Chairman, he heads Transportation & Urban Infrastructure covering Transportation, SEZ, EPC business. He is a Director on the Board of several subsidiaries of the GMR Group.

Mr. G. Subba Rao is the Executive Director of the Company is a Chartered Accountant with all India Rank to his credit having a total experience of over 44 years. He is the Group Deputy Managing Director of GMR Group and his association with GMR Group is over 28 years. He is presently handling development of two dedicated freight corridor Corporation (DFCC) projects of about Rs.5600 Crs worth, which are of national importance intended to ensure speedy and efficient transportation of Cargo in the country. Additionally he is also responsible for the Group Corporate Communication with focus on Group Websites and Media Relations. He also heads the corporate affairs of the GMR Group. During his long association with the GMR Group, he held various multi-faceted roles with many accomplishments to his credit. He played a very important and Key role in winning Delhi Airport Bid for the Group. He was CEO of GMR Hydro Business and ensured Financial Closure for GMR Bajoli Holi Hydro Power Project Limited, which commissioned successfully. Prior to joining the GMR Group, he was associated with Public/ Private Sector Banks i.e., Andhra Bank, ING Vysya Bank in very responsible positions.

Mr. Madhva Bhimacharya Terdal is a Whole-time Director of the Company. He holds Post Graduate in Economics, CAIIB and DBM from Indian Institute of Bankers and has been associated with the Company for more than 19 years. He has more than 35 years of work experience including Canara Bank, Vysya Bank Limited. He has specialized experience in the fields of corporate finance, banking and investment banking. He is also Executive Director of GMR Infrastructure Ltd and prior to he had served as “Group Chief Financial Officer” (GCFO) of GMR Group and has led various transactions of more than USD 6 Billion worth including the maiden IPO of the Company, FCCB worth of USD 300 Million “60 years Bond” from Kuwait Investment Authority and 3 QIP’s totalling 1.6 Billion (including the largest QIP of USD 1 Billion).

Mrs. Vissa Siva Kameswari is a qualified Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. She has over 24 years of experience in management consultancy and industry experience. She has worked with RPG Enterprises, Mercer Consulting (India) Private Limited, KPMG Advisory Service Private Limited, Ashok Leyland Limited and A.F. Fergusons & Co. Currently, Mrs. Vissa Siva Kameswari is engaged as Independent Director on some reputed organisations including Companies of the GMR Group.

Mr. Suresh Narang is an Independent Director. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Arts from University of Rajasthan, Jaipur. He has over 40 years of work experience in the field of Banking, having started his career with State Bank of India group in 1977 as a Probationary Officer. He joined Deutsche Bank AG in 1987 in Mumbai, and moved to Deutsche Bank Jakarta in 1994 to lead the Global markets business. He was appointed as Chief Country Officer of the Bank in Indonesia in 2001, and led the business franchise with a team exceeding 300 staff, till his retirement from the Bank in 2014. Subsequently, in 2015, he became a board member at Mandiri Securities, the capital markets arm of Bank Mandiri group, the largest financial services conglomerate in Indonesia, a position he held till his move to Singapore in 2018.

Mr. Narang has a deep knowledge of capital markets and investment banking, coupled with a strong grounding in corporate governance. Currently based in Singapore, Mr. Narang is engaged in supporting startups in the shared experience sector.

Dr. Satyanarayana Beela- Independent Director holds bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering, Masters in Engineering in Machine Design and Industrial Engineering, M Tech. in Computer Science and Technology from Andhra University, Ph.D from IIT Delhi. He has total 45 years rich experience in industrial, teaching & research and administrative areas. During his career he has awarded 25 PhD, published 125 research articles and four books and also completed major projects sponsored by AICTE and department of Science and Technology (DST). During his career he held various esteemed administrative positions including vice chancellor of Andhra University.

Dr. Emandi Sankara Rao is an Independent Director. He holds a Bachelor Degree specialisation in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from Andhra University, Post Graduate Degree M. Tech in Systems Reliability & Quality Engineering from IIT -Kharagpur, and PGDBA in Management from Pondicherry Central University. He has done his doctorate degree Ph. D from IIT-Bombay in Project Finance & Management on International Telecommunications Networks Effectiveness using the Stochastic & Artificial Intelligence ANN Simulation Models and he is also a Chartered Engineer (Valuations) from Institution of Engineers India.

He is having 30 years of top management around 9 years of Board Level Management and Institutional Development experience & expertise in Infrastructure & Industry, Banking & Finance and Business Schools & Institutions. Served in prestigious Govt. of India All India Developmental Financial Institutions like IFCI Ltd & Subsidiaries, IIFCL & Subsidiaries, IDFC, IDBI, MDI and ILD and had been the MD&CEO of IFCI Limited.

As part of returning back to society Dr. E S Rao has been contributing to the society with dedication through his ISR activities for over 25 years and serving the poor and needy people in areas passionate to him like Healthcare, Education, Girl Child Development and Skill Development and also mentoring the young professionals for their start-up’s by guiding them with research, innovation, strategy and teaching.

Mr. Shantanu Ghosh holds Master’s Degree in Economics from Delhi University. He has also completed Post Graduate Diploma in International Trade Management from Indian Institute of Foreign Trade. During his career spanning over 40 years, he has held various prestigious positions in various Indian and Overseas Banks. He held the position of country head of Retail Banking of ING Vysya Bank.

He was member of the startup team at C level in Bank Sohar and Bank Nizwa in Sultanate of Oman for over 11 years. He has rich experience in financial leadership roles, Business Strategy, Consulting, General Management, HRD, Information Technology and investment banking. Currently he advises on Digital Transformation.

Dr. Fareed Ahmed holds Master’s degree in Agricultural Economics, from Andhra University. He has also completed Ph.D in Management. Dr. Fareed has experience of working in banking sector, at both operational and administrative levels. He started his career as an Agricultural Field Officer in May 1983 and reached to the level of Branch Head, Zonal Head, and General Manager with Corporation Bank with which his association was for 34 years.

He had also served with Punjab & Sind Bank as Executive Director for over 3.5 years. He has been a regular contributor as an author for International Journals of Research in Management Economics and Commerce. Dr. Fareed has also been associated with various Banks’ Staff Training colleges and other Management Institutes as a panelist/ speaker and has conducted a number of sessions on Banking, Leadership and Team Performance.

Mrs. Suman Naresh Sabnani is a Graduate in commerce from Mumbai University and holds Post Graduate Certificate in Business Management, XLRI, Jamshedpur.

Mrs. Sabnani is having managerial experience of over 30 years and has held various senior positions with HSBC Bank, India and her last stint with the Bank was a Global role reporting to HSBC, UK. During her stint, she dealt the Regional Third Party Risk Officers across Asia Pacific, UK, Europe, North America, to ensure all that Third Party Risks raised in their Areas are completely and accurately addressed.
